  • kashjasage asked: About your post refusing blacklight tattoos, why are they unsafe? I've been thinking about getting one once I turn 18 next month, but I'd like to know the dangers of doing so. Thanks!:)

they have radioactive metals that make them react to u.v. light. unfortunitly the metals used are bad for long exposure to human tissue, they get away with selling it by saying that a certain percent of the ink is safe( the distilled water, glycerine, etc.) but theres no telling what these metals will do in your blood over long periods of time. also when you order the ink it comes with a safety disclosure pamphlet that is as think as war and peace. definitly woul think about it before putting your skin at risk or even worse :) thanks KRB
